Description
Oversize canvasback, Ralph Johnson, Detroit, Michigan, 2nd quarter 20th century.
Hollowed on the underside with inlet bottom board that created a space to store the rigging when not in use. Slightly turned head with glass eyes and relief wing carving.
CONDITION: Appealing in use repaint by Johnson with minor wear; crack around base of neck seat making the head loose, otherwise very good structurally.
