Mallard drake, Mason Decoy Factory, Detroit, Michigan, 1st quarter 20th century.
Hollow carved Premier grade with glass eyes and detailed bill carving. 'MHC' stenciled on the underside.
CONDITION: Original paint with minor dicoloration and wear; tight crack in back; crack in front of neck seat and back of head; neck is replaced.
Provenance: Wilhamer collection.
