Description

Pintail hen from Louisiana, 1st quarter 20th century.

Relief wing tip carving and distinctive carved detail along top of head.  Measures 13" long.  Given to Lee as a gift by then Mayor of Grand Isle, Louisiana Andy Valence.

CONDITION:  Worn old paint has flaked to much of the bare wood; small dents and shot marks; bill is missing; nails were added around neck seat to secure a split were one of the three original wooden pegs was inserted.
