Rigmate pair of mergansers, William Raymond Levy, Little Tancook Island, Nova Scotia.
Both with extended crests and carved mandibles.
CONDITION: Paint appears original with a thin coat of varnish; both hit by shot; split in one side of drake; drying cracks in hen with nails added to secure.
