Turned head mallard drake, Mitchell LaFrance, New Orleans, Louisiana.
With turned head and slight relief wing carving and glass eyes. Scratch feather paint detail. Copper tag on the underside from the collection of Charles W. Frank, Jr. Also a paper tag from the Richard Bourne aucion company. Measures 12 1/2" long.
CONDITION: Original paint with very minor wear; tight hairline crack in one side of neck, otherwise excellent structurally.
