Canvasback drake, Mason Decoy Factory, Detroit, Michigan, 1st quarter 20th century.
Chesapeake Bay model Premier grade with detailed bill carving and glass eyes. Measures 16" long.
CONDITION: Restored paint with minor wear; tight cracks in body and underside; head is reattached and may be from another Mason decoy; 1/3 of the bill is replaced; minor roughness at dowel in top of head.
