Description
Pair of surf scoters, John Hamilton, Cedar Run, New Jersey.
Hollow carved with round inlet lead weight and slightly turned head on drake. ‘J Hamilton’ carved in the underside. Measures 17" long.
CONDITION: Some paint separation and sap bleed; some filler on the front of each neck from when the decoy was made.
Provenance: Part of a large collection of Hamilton decoys we will be selling over the next few months.
