Rare mallard, Issac Bush, Pekin, Illinois, 1st quarter 20th century.

Hollow carved.  Retains the original weight.  This is the exact decoy pictured on page 349, 'Decoys & Carvers of Illinois' Parmalee and Loomis.  Isaac Bush was the father of carver Wilfred Bush and carved less than 100 decoys in his lifetime.  Measures 16 1/4" long.

CONDITION:  Strong original paint with minor flaking and wear; excellent structurally.
