Pair of Harry Shourds style buffleheads, Barnegat Bay Decoys, Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
Carver in the style of Harry Shourds of Tuckerton, New Jersey. Hollow carved with inlet lead weight. Barnegat Bay Decoys operated out of the same location as the Wildfowler Decoy Factory.
CONDITION: Both in excellent original paint with minor wear; discoloration at knots in body; crack in hen's neck; small defect in wood on one side of hen's head from when the decoy was made.
