Mallard hen, Wallace Young, Lacon, Illinois, 1st quarter 20th century.
Hollw carved with 1" bottom board.
CONDITION: Mix of original and old working touch up; minor flaking and wear; small chip in tail; reglued chip in tail; tight cracks in breast.
Provenance: Dr. Dyrc Sibrans collection, Decatur, Alabama. See page 18-19 in the July-August, 1981 issue of 'Decoy Hunter' magzine for a story on Dr. Sibrans.
