Description

Bluebill drake, Evans Decoy Factory, Ladysmith, Wisconsin, circa 1930.

Mammouth grade with glass eyes and detailed bill carving.  Evans ink stamp on underside.

CONDITION:  Strong original paint with minor wear; flaking around neck seat with a sliver of a chip missing on one side; a very nice example.

Provenance:  Roger Mallar collection.  Ex-collection of Win and Margaret Scott Carter, Portsmouth, NH.
