Hollow carved oldsquaw, Frederick Wiegleb (1934 - 2013), Kennebunk, Maine, dated 2003.
Thinly hollowed with with long inserted tail and inlet round bottom board. Raised crossed wingtips and detailed bill carving. Signed and dated 08/23/03 on underside. Wiegleb was an active memeber of Ducks Unlimited, President of the Kennebunk Land Trust, and President of the 1000+ member Scarborough Fish and Game Club for 10 years.
CONDITION: Excellent and original.
