Hollow carved canvasback drake attributed to Frank Schmidt, Detroit, Michigan.

Hollowed from the underside with an added keel.  Relief wing carving.  Measures 17 1/2" long.

CONDITION:  Mix of original paint and early second coat likely by Schmidt; very minor wear; very good structurally.
