Description

Hollow carved Canada goose from New Jersey, 1st quarter 20th century.

Hollow carved three piece body with raised neck seat and dowel in top of head.  Measures  22 1/2” long.

CONDITION:  In use repaint with moderate flaking and wear; filler added at separation in body seam and to a crack in the underside; crack in neck with small old nails securing.

Provenance:  Senator Eugene McCarthy collection.
