Description

Hollow carved redhead, Tom Chambers, Toronto, Ontario, last quarter 19th century.

Thinly hollowed with 1/4” bottom board branded ‘Geo. M. Hendrie’ for St. Clair Flats Shooting Club member George Hendrie.  He was a club member from 1889 – 1943.  Measures 15 1/4” long.

CONDITION:  Mix of original and in use touch ups that have been taken down; dents and shot marks; tight vertical cracks in neck and slight separation at neck seat; tight cracks in breast and bottom board; separation at knot in breast.
