Description

Hollow carved goldeneye hen probably from Nova Scotia, 2nd quarter 20th century.

Thinly hollowed with 3/8" bottom board.  Incised bill and eye carving.  Measures 11 1/2" long.

CONDITION:  Original paint with minor wear; crack and paint flaking on breast; white on wing patch appears to be strengthened.
