Description

Swimming, hollow carved brant, Lloyd Parker, Parkertown, New Jersey, last quarter 19th century.

Hollow carved with forward head position, deep ice groove, and inlet lead weight in underside.  Measures 18 1/2” long.

CONDITION:  In use repaint was taken down to mostly original paint with moderate wear; lightly hit by shot; tight crack in underside of tail; crack through lower neck where head was off and nailed back on; some filler added to a chip in neck.
