Description
Decorative hooded merganser, Habbart Dean, Maryland, dated 1983.
Hollow carved with round, inlet bottom board. Tucked and turned head with detailed feather and bill carving. Inserted, raised and crossed wing tips. Identified, signed, and dated on the underside. Measures 13 1/4” long.
CONDITION: Two small chips in tip of tail wee reglued, otherwise very good and original.
