Description

Preening merganser, Gunner Alvin Meekins, Hoopers Island, Maryland.

Rusted tack eyes and extended crest.  Typical chain weight on underside.  Measures 14 3/4” long.

CONDITION:  Original paint with moderate discoloration and minor wear; tight drying cracks; tip of crest was tightly glued back but with a dent on one side.
