Description
Pair of Harry Shourds style mergansers, Wildfowler Decoy Factory, Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
Hollow carved with inlet lead weights and carved crests. Signed by Charlie Birdsall and dated 1970 on the undersides. Underside of bills signed ‘W. Keim’. Measure 15 3/4” long.
CONDITION: Very minor discoloration and a tin blunting to one of drake’s tine of crest, otherwise excellent and original.
