Description

Hollow carved merganser, Chris Sprague, Beach Haven, New Jersey.

Hollow carved with ‘ice groove’ behind neck seat.  Slightly turned head with extended crest and partially inlet neck seat.  Signed on the underside of tail.  Measures 14” long.

CONDITION:  Original paint with very minor wear; minor separation at body seam; bill was cracked off and reglued.
