Hollow carved mallard, Robert Elliston, Bureau, Illinois, 1st quarter 20th century.
Hollow carved with glass eyes and retaining the original Elliston weight. ‘FHD 36’ painted in the underside. Measures 17” long.
CONDITION: In use repaint by Charles Walker with minor wear; filler added to body seam when the decoy was repainted; tight crack in bill.
