Description

Hollow carved goldeneye drake from Lake Erie, 1st quarter 20th century.

Hollow carved with 3/8” bottom board and tucked head.  Exact decoy pictured in plate 176 of 'Waterfowl Decoys of Michigan and the Lake St Clair Region' by Clune Walsh and Lowell Jackson.  Measure 13 1/2” long.

CONDITION:  Appealing early in use repaint with minor flaking and wear; hairline drying cracks in body otherwise very good structurally.
