Description

Mallard drake attributed to Coleman Cruly, Illinois, 2nd quarter 20th century.

Hollow carved with glass eyes.  Illegible collection ink stamp on the underside.  A rigmate pictured on page 194 of "Decoys of the Mississippi Flyway", by Alan Haid.  Measures 16 1/2" long.

CONDITION:  Original paint with moderate wear; thin coat of varnish has mostly flaked away; copper brace on each side of neck seat appear to have been done in the making; black under tail with flaking.
