Mallard hen, Elmer Crowell, East Harwich, Massachusetts.
Turned head with typical rasping on the back of head. Pre-brand with the rig brand ‘B. Haselton’ on the underside. Measures 15 3/4” long.
CONDITION: Original paint with minor to moderate wear under a coat of varnish; area of paint restoration on one side where filler was added to a loss in wood; crack in back and tail with a nail added to secure in one side of tail; roughness on top of head; minor separation at neck seat.
