Pair of redheads, Mason Decoy Factory, Detroit, Michigan, 1st quarter 20th century.
Early challenge grade models with incised bill carving and glass eyes. ‘W.W.’ carved into the underside. Measures 13 1/2” long.
CONDITION: Original paint with moderate gunning wear; hit by shot; drying cracks in bodies; chip in underside of drake; flaked filler at a knot in one side of hen both side of hen’s neck; glue visible at each neck seat.
