Description

Hollow carved red shank, Alfred Tellier, Baie de Somme, near Picardy France, 1st quarter 20th century.

Tellier was painter working from French railroad company he also was a waterfowl hunter and used his own decoys.  Measures 10" long.

CONDITION:  White on breast has old overpaint; the rest is original with moderate wear; a few shot strikes, including one on the top of bill, minor chipping at body seem near breast.
