Description

Brant found on Muskeget Island, Massachusetts, 1st quarter 20th century.

Found by Robert Congdon in 1935 on Muskeget Island.  Believed to have been carved on Martha's Vineyard.  Measures 16 1/2" long.

CONDITION:  Mix of original and old in use repaint with minor wear; bill cracked off at the wood grain and was never replaced.

Provenance:  Ex Robert Congdon collection.  Dr. John DInan collection.
