Description
Decorative old squaw, Jim Schmiedlin, Bradfordwoods, Pennsylvania.
Hollow carved with relief wing carving and head turned approximately 45 degrees. ‘JAS’ branded in the underside. Identified, signed, and dated 1984 on the underside. Measures 15 3/4” long.
CONDITION: Original paint with a few tiny paint rubs; drying crack in breast and underside of tail, otherwise excellent structurally.
Provenance: Ex Betty Williford collection.
