Decorative yellowlegs mantle carving, William Gibian, Onancock, Virginia.
Excellent yellowlegs carving on two tiered custom base. Relief wing tip carving, “Gibian” carved into underside of bird, stands 13” tall and is 14” from of bill to end of tail.
CONDITION: Very minor cracking to filler where bill meets face; otherwise excellent and original.
