Bluebill hen and drake, Harry Cook, Vallejo, California, 2nd quarter 20th century.
Both with relief wing tip carving. 'Cook’ carved in undersides. Drake with scratch feather paint on back. Both with ink stamp from the collection of William Mori on underside.
CONDITION: Mix of thick original paint and working repaint with minor flaking and wear; dent in hen's back; crack in hen's underside; wood patch in hen's side from when the decoy was made.
