Large preeing curlew, Reggie Birch, Chincoteague, Virginia.
With head turned over back and long wooden bill. Relief carved wings and raised wing tips. 'R. Birch' carved into underside. Also Birch ink stamp on underside of bird and stand. Stand included. Measures 14 1/2" long and stands 19 1/4" tall with stand.
CONDITION: Excellent and original.
