Description

Rare pair of calling blue wing teal, Grayson Chesser, Jenkins Bridge, Virginia.

Hollow carved with relief carved wing tips.  Slightly turned heads with open bills.  ‘C’ carved into the undersides.  Signed and dated 2004 on the underside of each.  Measure 11 1/2” and 11 3/4” long.

CONDITION:  Excellent and original.

Provenance:  From an excellent collection of contemporary Virginia carvers.
