Description

Mallard drake, Charles Perdew, Henry, Illinois, 2nd quarter 20th century.

Hollow carved with slightly raised neck seat.  Retains the original lead weight.  Ink stamp from the collection of Bernie Galipeau on the underside.  Measures 15 1/2” long.

CONDITION:  In use repaint with moderate flaking and wear; roughness on one side of bill; one eye is replaced; old repair to a crack through neck.

Provenance:  Ex Bernie Galipeau collection.
