Description

Two green wing teal drakes from Detroit, Michigan, last quarter 19th century.

Early standard grade with incised bill carving and glass eyes.  Possibly a collaboration between the transition from the Dodge Factory to the Mason Factory.  ‘R.B.C’ branded in the undersides.  Measure 11 1/4” and 11 1/2”long.

CONDITION:  Mix of original paint and early in use repaint with moderate discoloration and wear; small dents and shot marks; tight crack and filler in one neck.
